“Music For Generations‭”

Following the success of last year’s HKGNA Music Festival 2014‭, ‬we are excited to launch our 2nd HKGNA Musical Festival called‭ “‬Music For Generations‭.” ‬It will be a 15 day celebration of music bringing world-class artists to Hong Kong to perform with Hong Kong’s top musicians in a unique blend of artistic presentation and collaboration across multiple genres‭.‬‮

It will be a night of glorious all Rachmaninoff program. We are excited to present Mr. Itin collaborating with Hong Kong’s finest young musicians from Diocesan Girls’ School Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Leung Kin Fung, Diocesan Girls’ School Performing Arts Director.

In addition, we are thrilled to introduce internationally-acclaimed Trio Elf, a German jazz group whose signature warm acoustics augmented by the use of electronics, create a modern twist to traditional sound.

Music Therapy Workshop 7 Nov 2015 (Sat), 9:30am - 12:30nn　　　 \| 　　　Free Admission Hong Kong Cultural Centre Rehersal Hall, CR2 Guest Speakers Director of The Children's Institute of Hong Kong Dr. Jeremy Greenberg Registered Music Therapist Christina Lee Lambdoma Therapist Wing-suen Yiu In this workshop, experts will speak about how music can be used to communicate and heal those in need. They will also demonstrate the activities and techniques that can be used to help people of all ages improve cognitive, emotional and social skills. Guests will be invited to participate in the demonstrations. We will also feature our HKGNA Musical Angels from disadvantaged backgrounds to perform, great examples of how music therapy has impacted their lives!
